Director's Note

“What’s Up With Indian Men?” The answer eludes me as much as it might elude anyone else! At its heart, the film is about Indian men trying to step to the future and in spirit, it’s about the Indian families trying to stay grounded in the past.

 

This slice of life comedy is a coming-of-age story in an ever-changing, sometimes complicated but always confusing social landscape. Set in a millennial metro, the story is a confluence of characters where different generations converge at the crossroads of life, love, and lots of laughter. It’s almost a funny love letter that celebrates all quirks of the hybrid Indian Man struggling to cope with expectations of the modern woman and brand of feminism!

 

The story is infused with slam poetry, social satire, groovy humour, and family drama. Like our Indian men, it’s colorful, slightly irreverent, mostly in your face, but always funny and familiar. We hope you enjoy this quirky film as much as we have enjoyed making it!
